Learning Challenge - Amazing Amazon

Hook

We started our Amazing Amazon topic with an animal quiz and a bush trucker trial!

English

Our first writing unit is based around the book 'The Man Who Walked Between the Towers'. Our main writing focus will be biographies and we will also look at letters of advice, interviews, news reports and persuasive speeches.


 

Maths

This term we are exploring number and place value. We will also be looking at ways to add and subtract 5 and 6 digit numbers mentally, using counting on and counting back.

Class Book 
We are currently reading Varjak Paw by SF Said.
