Year 6 were fortunate to join a zoom call organised by The Holocaust Educational Trust to listen to Vera Schaufeld’s experience during World War Two and her journey on the Kindertransport.
Earth Day
Year 6 got their hands dirty for Earth day, planting some courgettes and radishes to grow on the classroom balcony. We used this as an opportunity to learn how to reduce air miles by picking locally sourced food.
Cricket Taster Session
Year 6 were fortunate to be offered an exciting afternoon of cricket from the Lancashire Cricket Foundation. The sun even made an appearance for the afternoon!
