Welcome to Reception

Early Years covers children who are in our Nursery and Reception classes. 

We have a wonderful learning environment for the children to explore to help them develop their knowledge and skills. The children have access to both the inside and outside classrooms when ever they want.

Each 1/2 term we will send home a letter giving you an overview of some of the activities we will be working on that 1/2 term.

 
Check out our Google Classroom / Twitter to see some of the fun activities we have been doing. Each week we will let you know some of the activities we have planned for the following week and we also add some ideas that you can use to help your child to prepare. 
 

We use various websites to help our children learn, click on EYFS ICT to get more information about them. 

We have created various short videos and put useful links on the Help Your Child Learn More page.

Every child has their own Google Classroom school account. We use this to help support your child's learning out of school and to allow secure direct contact with your class teacher.

We work with both Manchester Metropolitan University and Manchester University on various Early Years research projects.
