Welcome to the Early Years!

Early Years covers children who are in our Nursery and Reception classes. 

We have a wonderful learning environment for the children to explore to help them develop their knowledge and skills. The children have access to both the inside and outside classrooms when ever they want.

Every child has their own Google Classroom school account. We use this to help support your child's learning out of school and to allow secure direct contact with your class teacher.

We also use the Interactive Learning Diary to enter observations about each child. You can see pictures, observations and what part of the curriculum they worked on.  You can even send us your own observations about any interesting activities you have been doing out of school. You can access the ILD by clicking here or by searching for "ild login".

In Nursery our children will have access to an online reading website later in the year. We allocate books on this website for each child individually to help them learn to read, you can access this website by clicking here or by searching for "the bug club login".

We work on various Early Years research projects with Manchester Metropolitan University and Manchester University.
