The Divine Mercy

Roman Catholic Primary School

‘with Jesus in our hearts and the Children at the centre, we welcome and reach out to our diverse community in the Christian Spirit’

We use various websites to help the children learn and to help you to support your child.

If you have any questions about the websites or need a userid or password please ask your class teacher and they will help you.

We use EducationCity to support the children with Reading, Writing and Mathematics. We set weekly homework on it. To access it on iPads you may need to use the Puffin Browser app as EducationCity uses flash for some activities.

We use the Interactive Learning Diary (ILD) to track how each child is progressing through school.

You can see pictures of what your child has been doing, see where they are up to and get ideas to help them develop onto the next stage of their curriculum. You can also use the website or download the ILD app for your smartphone so you can send us observations of what they have been doing.

                                             Bug Club

We use Bug Club to support the children with Reading and Phonics. You can find lots of online books that are set at the correct level for your child. It will even read the books to your child for you! It will help you understand what sorts of questions to ask your child when reading together.
