Equality Policy and Objectives

Our Equality Policy is inclusive of our whole school community - pupils/children, staff, parents/carers, governors, visitors and partner agencies - who we actively engage with in a range of ways.

The purpose of this Policy is to set out how our practice and policies have due regard to the need to:

- Eliminate discrimination, harassment and victimisation

- Advance equality of opportunity and

- Foster good relations between groups

It explains how we aim to work with and involve children, staff, parents and the community in achieving better outcomes for our children and young people.

TDM Equality Objectives- 2020-2022

Objective 1: To monitor and analyse pupil achievement by race, gender and disability and act on any trends or patterns in the data that require additional support for pupils.

Objective 2: To review and promote levels of parents and carers engagement in their child's learning and school life, across all activities to ensure equity and fairness in access and engagement.

Our school beatitudes embody our ethos for equality.
