A brilliant fight scene!

English and Maths

In English, we have been learning about portal stories. We've had a lot of fun exploring different stories and learning our model text 'Elf Road.'

Portal Stories

During Spring Term 1, we have been learning about the Victorians. We had a brilliant time at John Rylands Library exploring Victorian maps of Manchester.

Victorian Day - when children were seen and not heard... in theory!

Autumn Term

English and Maths

We have started following Talk for Writing this term. We have learned a story called "The Unlucky Man" and are now innovating it and creating our own versions.

There's a Roman in the classroom (and he looks like Mr Wade...)!

In Science, we're finding out how different liquids effect our teeth (using eggs though, not real teeth.)

In PE this term we have been doing gymnastics. We have been developing our strength, technique, control and balance.

We have loved music this year, especially when we are using the Glockenspiels! We are getting much better at staying in time and composing our own, short rhythms.
