Welcome to the year three website page for classes 3D and 3M. Throughout this academic year we will be uploading photographs and information relating to the learning taking place in our classrooms and beyond. We hope you enjoy seeing all the wonderful activities and look forward to sharing content with you.
Thank you for your support.
Miss Alldred and Mr Campbell
3M - Physical Education
During autumn term in year three we have been focusing upon football and gymnastics during our physical education lessons. We have been blessed to work with the Manchester United football in the community coaches during our football training sessions and each week we have been learning new skills. Keep up the great work 3M!
3M - Science
In autumn term we have really enjoyed studying our exciting Science unit "Animals Including Humans". During our second week of studies we visited Aldi supermarket in order to explore different food and nutrient groups during a supermarket sweep. Thank you for picking up the bill for our fresh fruits Suhayb!
3M - Music
In 3M we absolutely love our music lessons each Thursday as we dance, sing and play our recorders with great exuberance. Take a look and see for yourself!
3M Trip to Manchester Reform Synagogue
Today 3M went on a trip to the Manchester Reform Synagogue as part our religious education studies. We met with Irene Gould a member of the synagogue who was happy to share with us some artefacts and describe their purposes. In addition to the time spent in the synagogue, we also explored the sukkah (an exciting hut filled with fruits and vegetables) which has been built underneath the synagogue in recognition of the Jewish festival of Sukkot.
The children behaved wonderfully and are a credit to you as parents and the Divine Mercy as a school.
I hope you enjoy the photographs.
3M - Old Trafford Stadium Trip
I am delighted to share with you some wonderful photographs of a special morning at Old Trafford stadium.
During the trip 3M met with the author Alan Gibbons and listened to him share experience of his life as an author, toured the club museum and were provided with time to take part in additional fun activities.
We must say a huge thank you to Miss Coyne (reading subject leader) and the National Literacy Trust who kindly provided us with this special opportunity to make memories to last for a lifetime.
I hope you enjoy the photographs!
