Welcome Back! We hope you have all had a lovely half term break.
This week we have been learning about Diwali, the Hindu festival of light. After hearing the story of Rama and Sita we made our own diva lamps out of clay!
We have also been painting fireworks. We mixed different colours to make new ones and added glitter to make our fireworks sparkle. They look great! We talked about how to stay safe on Bonfire night and around fireworks.
Next week is World Nursery Rhyme Week! We will be singing lots of Nursery Rhymes and doing lots of fun rhyming activities, including dressing up as our favourite Nursery Rhyme character on Friday 11th November.
Talk to your child about what they have done this week and look at our plans for next week to support them with their learning.
